约伯记 36

¹以利户又接着说：

²你再容我片时，我就指示你，因我还有话为神说。

³我要将所知道的从远处引来，将公义归给我的造物主［my Maker］。

⁴我的言语真不虚谎；那［that］知识全备的与你同在。

⁵看哪［Behold］，神有大能，并不藐视人；他的能力甚大［he is mighty in strength］，他的智慧甚广。

⁶他不保护恶人的性命；却为贫穷［poor］人伸冤。

⁷他时常看顾义人。竟［but］使他们和君王同坐宝座；他永远坚立他们［he doth establish them for ever］，他们就［and they］被高举。

⁸他们若被锁链捆住，被苦难的绳索缠住，

⁹他就把他们的作为和他们所犯的［they have exceeded］过犯指示他们。

¹⁰他也开通他们的耳朵得受教训，吩咐他们离开罪孽转回。

¹¹他们若听从事奉他，就必度日亨通，历年福乐。

¹²他们［they］若不听从，倒［But］要被刀杀灭，无知无识而死。

¹³唯伪善人心中［But the hypocrites in heart］积蓄怒气；他［he］捆绑他们，他们竟不求救。

¹⁴他们［they］在青年时死亡，终身列在污秽人中［their life is among the unclean］。

¹⁵贫穷人在困苦中，他救拔他们［He delivereth the poor in his affliction］；趁他们受欺压开通他们的耳朵。

¹⁶神也必引你出离患难，进入宽阔不狭窄之地；摆在你席上的必满有肥甘。

¹⁷但你成就了［fulfilled］恶人当受的审判［judgment of the wicked］；判断和刑罚抓住你。

¹⁸既有忿怒［Because there is wrath］，就当谨慎［beware］，免得他把你击打除去［lest he take thee away with his stroke］；那时赎价虽大，也不能救你［then a great ransom cannot deliver thee］。

¹⁹他岂重看你的资财［will he esteem thy riches］？他不重看金子［no, not gold］，也不重看一切的势力［nor all the forces of strength］。

²⁰不要切慕黑夜，就是百姓［people］在本处被剪除［cut off］的时候。

²¹须要谨慎［Take heed］，不可重看罪孽；因你选择罪孽过于选择苦难。

²²看哪［Behold］，神用能力高举［exalteth by his power］；教训人的有谁像他呢？

²³谁派定他的道路？或［or］谁能说：你所行的为恶［iniquity］？

²⁴你不可忘记称赞他所行的为大，就是人所看见［behold］的。

²⁵他所行的，众人都看见；世人也从远处观看。

²⁶看哪［Behold］，神为大，我们不能全知，他的年数也［neither］不能测度。

²⁷他使水滴化小［maketh small the drops of water］；水滴浇下成雨如同雾一般［they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof］；

²⁸云彩将雨落下，沛然降与世人。

²⁹谁又［Also］能明白云彩如何铺张，或［or］神帐幕［tabernacle］的声音［noise］呢？

³⁰看哪［Behold］，他将他的［his］亮光普照在其上［upon it］，又［and］遮覆海底。

³¹他用它们［them］审判百姓［people］；他［he］赐丰富的粮食。

³²他以云彩［clouds］遮光［light］；又借云彩来到中间，命光不得照耀［and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt］。

³³其中的声音表明此事［The noise thereof sheweth concerning it］，又向牲畜指明云雾［vapour］。
